Rest & Restore Therapy is rooted in reliability, authenticity, and compassion. We serve adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, and life transitions, offering a warm, supportive, and goal-oriented approach. We provide genuine care, undivided attention, and practical tools to support meaningful change. Faith-based Christian integration is available for those who desire it, while we welcome and serve individuals from all backgrounds.

Our Approach

We collaborate with you to set meaningful goals and track your progress. Sessions are personalized and may draw from approaches such as CBT, ACT, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness-based therapies, with more structured treatments like EMDR, TF-CBT, and DBT available when appropriate for your needs.

Outside of intake and diagnostic sessions, our approach is often guided by three core elements: connect, reflect, and direct.

Connect

When you come in after a long week, it can be difficult to jump straight into deeper work. We begin with a thoughtful check-in to understand what has been happening and how it has impacted you. When helpful, we may also guide you through a brief relaxation or grounding exercise to help you settle into the session.

Reflect

We take time to reflect on what you share, asking meaningful follow-up questions to help you explore your experiences more deeply and gain greater clarity and insight.

Direct

When appropriate, we offer guidance, share relevant information, and introduce practical coping strategies to support your growth. We may also revisit and build upon skills from previous sessions to help you continue making progress.
